Reishi mushroom's are one of the most harvested mushrooms in the World and their history dates all the way back to East Asia where they have been used in Chinese and Japanese practices for thousands of years due to their apparent connection to wellbeing.
Research has uncovered that Reishi mushrooms contain beta-glucans and triterpenes which may have a role to play in sleep quality and cortisol regulation. Many people therefore consume this mushroom for the potential benefits on their health.
Reishi mushroom is most commonly dried, extracted or made into a tea.
Our Reishi Liquid Culture contains pre-germinated spores from our master culture to speed up the growing process for you.
Simply inject your Reishi Liquid Culture into your sterilised spawn or substrate and wait for colonisation.
Growing Conditions
- Hardwood or hardwood supplemented with bran, hydrated to around 60%
- Colonise in dark conditions around 25c for optimal mycelium growth
- Fruit 21-27c in indirect sunlight or ambient light to encourage primordia formation
- High humidity is essential for large, healthy fruits
