Our King Oyster Mushroom Grain Spawn Bag comprises of a high-yield G1 master culture strain which will give you a large output of high-quality King Oyster mushrooms. The spawn is ready to mix with your substrate so you can get straight in and get growing your King Oyster mushrooms with no hassle.
You should expect a large mushroom harvest of around 300g+ per kg of substrate within as little as 3 weeks growing time.
There is growing evidence from research into their 'functional food' properties. For example, King Oyster mushrooms have high levels of ergothioneine- a powerful antioxidant. They also contain beta-glucans which have been shown to have a place in regulating appetite, blood sugar, and have a link to supporting the bodies immune system.
They are easily added into many culinary dishes for you to enjoy, such as curries, stir frys, stews and even brewed to make tea. The best way to enjoy King Oyster mushrooms and it's reported health benefits is by consuming them, and they really are delicious!
