Golden Oyster mushroom's have a slightly unusual taste for a mushroom- slightly nutty, some describe it as almost fruity. This sweet flavour along with it's yellow colouring makes it very popular to use in culinary dishes, alongside it's reputation for promoting wellness. They are rich in ergothioneine which is an antioxidant linked to lower risk of heart disease.
When cooked they have a velvety texture and almost melt in your mouth, they are very good roasted or used in stews and curry dishes.
Our Golden Oyster Fruiting Block Kit comes in two options- the fruiting block only, or complete with supplies.
Supplies include an ultra fine mister and a humidity tent.
